Juneau looks at art

His name is Argos

We saw him again coming back around the Katy Trail.
His owner Jill, stopped to chat and to see if we might meet. However, I have trained these guys that when they are on lead; "I got it", so they sat and waited, hopeful, as did Argos. But, no dice.
At two years old I was impressed with Argos' demeanor. He walks well on a loose leash, was attentive to his owner, and settled himself easily while only 3 feet away from Jack and Juneau, who he did want to play with.
Well done Jill, well done Argos, well done Jack and Juneau. I am very impressed with your manners!

We were going very slowly on the Katy Trail

Until we were passed by a Standard Poodle. Both boys then picked up the pace.

"Are we there yet?"

Home again, home again, jiggety jig

And they were both snoring in sync as well

Mystery Woman

Every once in a while, this woman standing near the corner, with her outstretched hand catches Jack's eye and we have to cross to see why she is acting so strangely.
Seemingly calling him to come, but yet looking at him and not moving. He gets close, but not too close and he always backs up before something happens.
Smart dog.

Tender Loving Care

This is behind the scenes at Highland Park Animal Hospital. The staff takes special care of their patients. I didn't know that when Juneau goes to the back of the clinic to get his ears cleaned, he also gets belly rubs, hugs, and head kisses.

  He was really soaking up the love, and in no hurry to leave. A very charming scene indeed.
